After a very good night in the train, I have arrived in Bucharest. I only stayed there a few hours, in order to catch the train to Istanbul. Before leaving, I had to catch some food for the next 20 hours.
It was the very first time I spent two consecutive days and nights in a train, and it was only wonderful memories.

Timişoara, Romania
I arrived in Timişoara at night, so I only had a limited view of the city. The next day, I could wander around the city and discover it. It has a very unique atmosphere, and is very different from other cities I had visited in Romania before. These two days here were really amazing !
After the quietness of Timişoara, I will reach the noisy and busy - but still very lovely - Bucharest, for a very quick stop. Only a few hours there, just in time to catch the next train to Istanbul, and another amazing train ride...

Belgrade, Serbia
A few hours after leaving Zagreb comes Belgrade again. As always, it is a real pleasure to spend some time in this station. After a few hours, it was time to take the train to Timişoara. It was also the first time I would cross the border at Stamora Moraviţa.
Before reaching the Romanian border, the train goes through a huge plain. And then, all of sudden, you have just reached Romania.

Zagreb, Croatia
Time for another trip around Europe ! A few months after Finland, I left again for the Balkans : Zagreb, Timişoara, Istanbul, Thessaloniki, Budapest. Two incredible weeks, about 6.000 kilometers, amazing people, unforgettable train mates, and wonderful memories...
